Our final ID I project was to create a floating vessel that complimented the plant we were given as well as the surface of the water and the surroundings of the Phipps Conservatory. There was an exhibition at Phipps with all the vessels in the gardens that lasted the week between the takedown of the fall show and the construction of the winter show. Secondarily, we designed and constructed a symmantic stand that not only aesthetically complimented the vessel, but also described how it floats.
