Adaptive Emotive Space Lee Byron and David Hartunian
A semester long independent study investigating the interaction between a space and its occupants. The space is sensitive to the motion of it's occupants and responds with colored lighting and sound. The goal is to create an emotional connection between the two to inspire action and change from the participant. The room jumps between emotional states including: sadness, happiness, panic, boredom and calm. David Hartunian and I programmed and assembled the space with a small budget of $1,000 provided from an undergraduate research grant.
